McAleer Creek Reforestation Project

King Conservation District selected Cross Reiter to complete a geotechnical engineering evaluation and landslide hazard assessment for this project that aimed to remove invasive species, re-establish native vegetation, and improve stability in the McAleer Creek drainage. Cross Reiter completed subsurface investigations in steep terrain with limited access, evaluated slope stability, characterized landslide hazards, and provided engineering recommendations to protect public safety and achieve the project goals.
